Biography
“JD King is the UK Grand Champion (2023) and European Grand Champion (2024) Elvis tribute artist — a BBC One television personality, Elvis Tribute Artist Hall of Fame member, and one of the most critically acclaimed Elvis performers in the world.”
Born into a family of professional performers — grandson of Australian screen legend Ed Devereaux (Skippy the Bush Kangaroo) and son of West End star Steve Devereaux — JD began performing as an Elvis tribute artist in Brighton in 2002. More than two decades later he has performed thousands of shows across the UK and internationally, building a career spanning cathedral tours, major music festivals, cruise ships, prestigious private venues and national television.
He was the first performer to headline Tribfest — the UK’s biggest tribute music festival — in back-to-back consecutive years, is a headline act for Warner Hotels nationwide, holds the exclusive performer role for Kinda Dusty Promotions’ Elvis By Candlelight cathedral tour and stars in The Music of Elvis theatre production by Showplanr.
