Eastbourne

Eastbourne is a large town and borough in East Sussex, on the south coast of England. It is situated immediately east of Beachy Head, the highest chalk sea cliff in Great Britain and an area of outstanding natural beauty. This sheltered position contributes to Eastbourne’s title of sunniest place in Great Britain Eastbourne is a relatively new town. Prior to 1800, the area existed as four separate hamlets and surrounding farmland.
